Dan doesn’t follow his own safety precautions when using power tools. Do it yourself is probably not Dan’s best option after this major fail.
A mitre saw is dangerous so one should always take all the necessary precautions. Do it yourself Dan shows you how but, mind those fingers Dan that blade looks sharp. Could this be an accident waiting to happen.
In this scene we used Adobe Photoshop to create the fingers and Mocha in After Effects to track them onto the hand.
In this exercise we actually was trying to come away from using After Effects and see how much we could do using a traditional method of effects… like fake blood!
