Preparing the Magic Pots

  • Use the white paint on the inside and outside of the terra-cotta pot and let dry

  • Draw a unicorn horn on your gold card-stock and cut out
  • Glue the base of the horn close to the top on the inside of the pot
  • Glue the felt leaves to the sides of the horn
  • Use the flowers to make a flower crown at the base of your horn in front of the leaves
  • With your permanent marker, draw the eyes about halfway up on the pot. Don’t forget the lashes!
  • Dip your finger into the pink paint to give your unicorn some blushy cheeks on the sides of the pot

Adding the Succulents

  • Add your succulent and cacti soil to the pot about 3/4 full
  • Separate succulent from pot by pushing in on all sides to loosen soil, then remove the entire succulent with root ball attached
